There's a chance you could be Celiac/gluten intolerant if you have digestive problems (and even sometimes if you don't). It happened the opposite for me, that once I removed the gluten from my diet the Mercury poisoning symptoms started to stand out!

Gluten intolerance seems to go with mercury poisoning rather often. I've noticed from reading a very large Celiac board that quite a few of those who have gone gluten-free still have nagging symptoms of skin rashes, multiple food allergies, and other things that haven't improved in spite of many of their symptoms getting better. So I have to wonder if they don't have mercury poisoning too.

I went gluten-free at the end of January, and have had a severe rash on my cheeks, nose and forehead ever since. I'd had it off and on before, but never this consistently or bad. I thought at first that it was a part of gluten detoxing, but later after reading about mercury poisoning wondered if it didn't have something to do with *that*.

I'm on my third day of taking Algin, and the skin rash has noticeably improved. It looks better than it has in months. So I think I have my answer there! That my ills are a combination of amalgam poisoning and gluten intolerance. Getting the gluten out of my diet started to improve my immunity so that my system was fighting harder to get rid of the mercury, I think.

I only tried cutting out gluten because I had read that a gluten-free/casein-free diet helped autistics, and I had the symptoms of Asperger's. At the time, I didn't know what gluten intolerance was, or that I already had an awful lot of the symptoms. Or that many are the same as mercury poisoning, including depression and anxiety. It can also be quite dangerous, because the gluten will actually damage your intestines, which leads to lowered immunity and the inability to absorb nutrients from food.

Within a few days of cutting out gluten I felt mentallly calmer, less depressed, and slept harder. It hasn't cleared up all my problems because I still have to work on getting the mercury removed. I've had lots and lots of dental work. Only three of my teeth are without crowns or bridges, and those three have mercury fillings. Also, some of my crowns have amalgam under them.

I saw a biological dentist yesterday though. So we're going to get started on it.
