If you used to have sugar or caffiene, you are probably experiencing withdrawal. Most people don't realize that caffiene and processed sugar are both highly addictive. Withdrawal is gruesome but manageable.
If you want to see if withdrawal is the issue, try having a little caffiene or sugar?whatever you used to eat before?and see if the symptoms subside. If you can handle not knowing for sure whether it is withdrawal, don't have any. It's just going to extend the withdrawal period.
It's very normal to have sugar cravings. I used to in a terrible way. You won't believe how wonderful and peaceful it feels when the cravings and withdrawal symptoms are over. You can relax, focus, sleep and enjoy life in ways you never knew were possible. It's really worth it.
Another problem with removing sugar is candida "die-off". This is when the candida (yeast) in your body has nothing else to feed on. They die off and create a lymphatic load. This will also make you feel horrible, but it's only temporary. Drink lots and lots of water, as much as you can comfortably handle. Also have lots of fiber.
I managed my sugar craving with GTF (Glucose Tolerance Factor) Chromium. This worked great for curbing my sugar cravings. Make sure you get a good brand. I used Nature's Sunshine Products brand.
Make sure your main meals are vegetables. Not cooked, raw. It makes a big difference. And be sure to buy organic whenever possible. Organic veggies have 10 to 100 times (NOT PERCENT... TIMES!! -per study at USF) the mineral content than standard farm products do. These minerals are immediately available to the body and you can feel the difference.
If you feel bad enough, always consider seeing a doctor that specializes in this kind of toxicity. They can help you.
In short, this is the important stuff I learned over the past four years of research and experience...
Mercury interferes with a multitude of enzymatic, mineral and messenger feedback mechanisms in the body. The net effect is that you feel horrible. The following information is worth a million bucks is you use it...
The primary causes of low energy are:
(1) low ATP production (adenosinetriphosphate) which is the main cellular enercy molecule.
(2) Reduced T3 (Thyroid hormone) levels. Take a thyroid stimulator like mentioned in a previous post. You will feel the difference, especially over a couple days time.
(3) Low sugar levels. GTF Chromium is great for this. Also, take vitamin E with selenium. You need lots of selenium because the mercury binds to it and renders it useless and this in turn messes up your sugar levels. *Small* amounts of pasta daily can help with blood sugar. Take no fruit sugar or sucrose (processed sugar found in candy).
(4) Take Algin daily throughout the day, particularly when you are physically active as this will cause lymphatic "spill-over". You can take it on an empty stomach (I just finished a light workout and took 5 algin myself).
I know a lot of this is repeat material but it's work repeating. You have almost total control over how you feel physically and emotionally if you will strategize with a smart diet and supplements and arm youself with knowledge.
Keep us posted.
