Yea, the learning curve can be something.
About the sauna, honestly, I don't know if it could be provoking symptoms. I've never heard of that happening but I suppose it's possible. I'll post a question on our professional health forum and see if anyone else knows.
About where to get the thyroid stuff... I actually carry it and can drop ship it, or you can find a local health food store that carries "Nature's Sunshine Products" and ask for Thyroid Support. They should know exactly what you're talking about.
If you have any problems, let me know.
With all the symptoms you're having, I would be taking Algin on a daily basis (I would take 4 tablets twice daily between meals). This will chelate (bind to) the mercury in the blood and carry it via the digestive system safely. Make sure to take Algin with no other additives. Some companies combine Algin with other supplements that expel mercury into the blood. You don't want that yet.
Hang in there as this is a long road that gets easier with time. The long-term benefits can be really dramatic.
Let me know if I can help further.
Oh, one more thing. If depression is the main problem, make sure to cut caffiene and sugar (even fruit sugar) from the diet completely. It's very hard going through withdrawl but you may feel so good on the other side (4-5 days later) that it may actually feel downright weird. When you get used to the peaceful feeling, you'll never want to go back.
