If my health and time permits, I could attend the FDA public meetings on Mercury in September with not too much effort. Of course, I have some time to make the decision, but I can't decide whether it's even worth the effort to go. After years of working in "Washington" I've become jaded and am wondering whether this will be, yet another, whitewash.
I have finished Round I of my total dental restoration -- I had 17 amalgams removed last week. I go for Round II next week for 2 tooth extractions and some final work.
I'm finding that since having my amalgams out -- although it's only been a week -- I must be gaining more energy. Because now I'm getting quite angry about this entire issue. Resentful and livid at times. Angry with ADA, FDA, individual States, dentists who use the poison, doctors who ignore the poison, angry with myself for not realizing this problem sooner .... you name it. So, I reckon I must be feeling better to actually have the energy to muster up some anger. Prior to amalgam removal, I did not have the energy to be angry.
Russ .... Laura........ anyone....... do ya think it's even worth trying to attend to get a first-hand look at the circus?

I can't say it is worth a look, but might be amusing. Be prepared for another "claim to the safety of amalgam" since they just released that bogus study on amalgam use in children and that it does not make kids sick. However, they only tested urine for a few weeks following amalgam installation. Mercury usually passes in stool, and no one is following up with these kids to see if they get loopy later on, like the rest of us. I personally, have no faith on the FDA to protect us from anything. Take vaccines, those are supposed to be mercury free now, but they are manufacturered with mercury and then supposedly the drug company filters it out of the final product. Huh? We all know how hard it is to remove mercury let alone "filter" it. So a lot of wool. Your anger increase may be mercury moving around, as I have had an anger problem related to my mercury and it flares up when mercury is building, as when I forget to take my supplements. I feel your pain!

Wish I lived closer Sharon, we could go together, and give them our 2 cents!!!
And I agree, the anger is likely from the mercury moving about....I kind of liken it to the grieving process, it sure has different stages of healing!!!!
