A CPAP machine consists of a mask that is held over your nose and sometimes nose and mouth while you sleep. The machine forces air into your airways to keep them open to eliminate instances of apnea. Apnea is where someone quits breathing for a period of time because of the airway being blocked. I have used one for 2 years now.
I am mercury poisoned and had my amalgams removed about 2 months ago. I have just began the detox process. I am hoping that after detoxing I will be able to get away from the CPAP machine. I hope this helps.
