Demi,
You're way out of line here, and you are drawing conclusions that are outlandish.
If (I'm speculating) NSP did detect mercury in Algin, if it absorbed 1000-times more mercury than it contained, would it still be a useful supplement?
NSP is an excellent company that I personally respect. Their products are second-to-none and I use them almost exclusively and have recovered from mercury toxicity using them, including Algin.

Funny how everyone justifies the use of mercury in products by the same arguments when it is their products.
NSP does not "use" mercury in anything. Based on their response, they cannot even detect it and they are the only company that voluntarily produces a full product line that meets California's "65" standards.
Perhaps you've misread the response?

That really doesn't help me, Laura. But who should care about me, as a vegetarian with mercury poisoning? The answer is, no one does care.
Your choice to be a vegetarian is a standard you are holding
yourself to. Does NSP have to abide by your standards? Do I?
I have chosen not to be a vegetarian and am happy with this decision, although I do eat a lot of vegetables.

What it ultimately always comes down to is money. Dentists use amalgam because it's cheaper, and people will opt for a cheaper option than the composites. NSP is no different by putting money considerations first.
No. For me, it comes down to health, which is exactly why I chose to take NSP products almost without exception.

The Dental Associations and NSP don't care about my plight or needs, so why should I care for them?
Demi, I'm not sure what's gotten into you but I would take a breath and reconsider posting things until they are well thought out, for you own sake. It's always good to think carefully before speaking.
