Yes, teeth grinding is another classic symptom of mercury poisoning. I believe it might be caused directly from the galvanic current in the mouth from the fillings and during sleep, you have no real idea what you're doing with your mouth and I think you directly react to the toxicity and the grinding just happens automatically in sleep. (that's just what I reckon). I used to grind my teeth a lot when I had amalgams apparently and sometimes my Mother would hear it if she came into my room.
I no longer have amalgams and apparently nobody has heard me grind my teeth anymore!! So I don't know what to make of that. Could be the toxicity, but could be the actual current int he mouth itself.
Very hard to say. My cousin, who denies mercury is involved in her health issues, has grinded her teeth for years, has now had to have her teeth capped.
I can't blame everyting on mercury, but I firmly believe it is a cause or contributing factor in many cases.
You may find once you remove the amalgams, that this force that causes unconscious grinding of teeth at night may well begin to subside. I can't be 100% about it, but it does sound like it is related to the galvanic current and general toxicity from the mercury.
