Yep, I agree with the above post. Sometimes even vitamins and minerals can move mercury around on their own, but I assume it's due to the body getting more of what it needs perhaps and attempts then to mobilise some of the storage of mercury.

again, antifungal use is risky, but in some people with severe yeast issues, they may need to use them so I'm not saying never touch them, but it's best if you can to lower the yeast with diet alone due to what "can" happen with antifungals.

best wishes.

Yep, again I agree witht eh above post. Yeast DOES contain mercury if you've had the yeast for sometime and if you do anything to kill it on impact with powerful antifungals (even natural ones), you will very likely pop open yeast cells and the mercury contained in them will release right into your system, repoisoning you. Some people seem to think this is a good idea to get more mercury out, but I think it's risky and can push a person over the edge if they are not ready for it. It's done it to me.

The best way to deal with yeast is to starve it out and battle it by denying it everything you can. No sugar, no yeast, no gluten, no milk (by the way, milk can intefere with mercury excretion so best to avoid anyway) and preferably no fruit due to natural sugar. But some people can actually handle a little bit of fruit eachday day, for me my yeast is so bad I cannot do so. You might be ok.

I stay awake from milk because of the lactose content (natural sugar), plus the inteference with mercury excretion. Not sure how it does this, but apparently it most definitely does and some people who are very sick with mercury find they can detox it easier once they cut milk out. But to my mind, sugar, gluten and yeast are the worst culprits next to milk.

If you have not done this, you might want to try it. You might find you also go through a yeast die off as it's being starved, it will most likely begin to sicken, shrivel and die. It is not risky like antifungals because the yeast do not pop open so much, they just release their death toxins (yeast toxins) and it might make you feel pretty lousy for awhile (dizzy, drunkish and headachey etc), but it means you are healing and this die off can last from a few days, up to three weeks.

Stay away from garlic supplements. I have been severely damaged by them and still can't recover. They are dangerous in mercury toxic people and not worth risking. All I did was to take them for oneday and have done terrible damage which has gone on now for months. I assume this is from massive mercury mobilisation into far worse areas and into my brain and gut etc. I am in pain most days now.

ALA is more powerful than DMSA and DMPS. and should never be used too early on, or on too high a dose for you, or if you've had a mercury redistribution from something else. If you use ALA in these situations, you will most likely worsen your condition ten fold. It's scary stuff, but obviously fantastic when it's used at the right time later down the track when a person is more stablised from lowering their blood and tissue levels of mercury with DMSA or DMPS first, or waiting until their body does it naturally (some people like me need something to do this because I retain mercury and do not excrete it).

ALA does indeed chelate mercury powerfully and does chelate brain and organ mercury, but again, use it cautiously. This is just my experience.

Again, as for antifungals, if you have a severe case of yeast infection that is not helped by diet alone, you may not have much choice but to use them, but try the diet first if you haven't already. If you do have to use antifungals, make sure you're slow and careful and see how you go. I have heard in some things I've read that yeast can actually absorb phenomenal amounts of mercury, even holding their own weight in mercury, so you can see the risk.
