How They Give You Permission To Lie To YourselfOne of the psychological devices used to lull the population into complacency is this:
The false belief that if something terrible and conspiratorial was happening, it would not be easily known. This false belief provides the emotional permission one needs to disbelieve it. Many exercise this permission because it's what they prefer anyway. It's called "Willful ignorance".
Maintaining freedom requires facing hard truths and cleaning up hard messes. Generations did it before us. Through subtlety, the concept of freedom has been overextended by tyrants into the false belief which claims we have the right to believe whatsoever we choose - without consequences. This is one of the most clever lies used by tyrants.
Freedom does not extend to believing whatsoever we want. This perversion of freedom is the very false entitlement that leads right back into captivity. This is the reason tyrants promote false entitlement; namely because it brings you right back into their oppressive arms.Return to The Founder's Post Forum
