----Light Overcomes The Darkness ~~
--[Sylvia Barnhart]

---I am no expert on the American Church. My perspective on what is happening in churches across America and my burden for things to change comes from a mothers' heart. I see my children grapple with these ideas and with the culture in which they live. I have sat and listened to young people pour out their hearts about the abuse and pain they suffered in their churches, often at the hands of church leadership. We like to blame the darkness in the world on the dark, when in fact the darkness is there because the light is not shining bright enough.

Ungodliness of the American Church along with its powerlessness to bring salvation and healing to our nation is perhaps far more responsible for driving our your people away than the darkness that is trying to overtake our Nation.
The Word of God says, The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" (John 1:5). It's time for us to stand face to face with the darkness and let our light shine brighter. It's time to seek the Lord until we find Him, but we must seek with all our hearts. He is faithful to ALL generations, and He has promised to bless those who seek Him, to bless their children, and to save all who will call upon His Name, ~~
