The Two Moral Stances

There are 2 moral stances.

One says, "I prefer emotional comfort over hard truth".
The other says, "I prefer hard truth over emotional comfort".

Avoiding hard truth brings emotional comfort in the short-term but leads to long-term disaster.
Facing hard truth brings discomfort in the short-term but brings long-term peace.

Every one of us makes this decision every day.
