--ROE vs WADE OVERTURN ?

--Roe v. Wade was a court case marked with controversy. Its passing brought a fundamental change to our nation that became a doorway into a new era and a blatant disregard for human life that has affected every part of our society. Prolife advocates have fought for years for the overturning of this law that has allowed the ending of countless lives for the last 48 years. Now the Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court, arguing that Roe and other decisions regarding abortion were "egregiously wrong" and should be overturned.

The state law that is being challenged in the Supreme Court is a law banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. A number of conservative governors in the United States are calling the Supreme Court to uphold the Mississippi ban on abortion and to overturn the 1973 landmark decision of Roe v. Wade. Mike Pence added his name to the amicus and several other conservation organizations have also filed a joint brief as the end of July contending that the Supreme Court's ruling in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey is an overreach of federal power, contending that abortion decisions should be left to the states. ~~
