---BELIEVING ANYWAY ~~

---Romans 8:28 (NIV®)
----"We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." --

---For this verse to have real meaning, you need to believe in an omnipotent, transcendent God. You have to believe that the same God who spoke the earth into existence is working for your good today—no matter the circumstances.

If you find yourself on a mountaintop with everything looking up, is God working for your good? If you love Him, yes, He is. If you find yourself in a valley of despair and wondering how you will make it, is God working for your good? If you love Him, yes, He is. God allows us to act on our free will and reap the rewards and consequences, and He allows us to experience the joys and frustrations of life. But on the mountaintops and in the valleys, on days when we celebrate and days when we despair, God is working for our good. We may not understand why things happen as they do, but we can be assured that He is at work to accomplish His purposes in our lives.

THINK ABOUT IT
Faith is believing God’s promises even when they seem impossible or untrue. God fulfills His plan, no matter the circumstances. That is just who He is, and that is just what He does.
PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, forgive me for when I have doubted You when life went dark. I do love You, and I resolve to always believe that You are at work in me and in others, no matter what life looks like. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen."
