---I had gone to bed early, exhausted from the sheer frustration of my workday. I was almost asleep when the phone rang. I heard my husband's voice downstairs, talking briefly, and then his footsteps in the hallway. "Honey you asleep?" he asked as he opened the door.

"How could I be?" I asked, just wanting the day to end.

"Want to come outside and look at the moon? We're having a total lunar eclipse."
I was wide awake now. "Really?".

A few minutes later, Gary and I stood on the front lawn, the sky an amazing arc of black velvet studded with stars. And center stage was the pale, marvelous moon. I broke the silence and asked, "How did you know about this?"
Gary put his arm around me. "That phone call. It was some lady, all excited, telling me to go out and look at the moon. She was pretty embarrassed when I told her she had the wrong number."

I stood there looking at the sky, my frustration and exhaustion giving way to wonder and awe. "God really was in control--of the universe and my own life too. "You know," I said, snuggling closer to Gary. "I don't think she got the wrong number at all."

--"Oh Lord, How marvelous are Your works, Thank You for allowing us to see your glory, in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior."
