Victory on B12!

Last week, we reported that an FDA advisory committee was meeting to discuss whether B12 (methylcobalamin) could continue to be compounded at traditional compounding pharmacies. We're happy to report that, thanks to stakeholder and activist feedback, the committee voted to preserve access to compounded B12, in addition to melatonin and 5-HTP; the committee rejected choline chloride. Nevertheless, this is a huge victory for patients and consumers of natural health! We at ANH thank you for your activism.

Keep in mind that the committee only makes recommendations; the FDA will go through the formal rulemaking process to either accept or reject the committee's recommendation. We will keep you updated on these developments.
