----INFINITE AND SOVEREIGN ~~

--I am at peace with not totally understanding God. I am a finite creature worshipping an infinite God, and by definition, I will not be able to fully explain Him. In the plainest of language, God is smarter than I am. I am not complacent or lazy; I study and apply myself in a very systematic and intentional way. But I know that if I learn something new about God every day for a thousand years, there still will be more to learn on the next day. If we could fully explain God and everything He does, why would we want to worship Him? If we could master God, why would we need to yield to Him? I have a profound respect and reverence for God. I want to know His Word, and I want to cooperate with Him as fully as I can. “For from him and through him and to him are all things.” Amen!

THINK ABOUT IT
Some people have a great deal of head knowledge about God but do not give Him much room in their hearts. Others place so much emphasis on emotion that they do not try to study and learn about Him. Could either of those things be said about you?

PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, though I neither fully know nor understand You, You fully know me. So I choose to trust You, knowing all things are in Your hands. Help me to know Your character through Your Word and cooperate with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen."
