----FOLLOW CHRIST ~~

--"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee."
---(Isaiah 43:2) --

---Sometimes the trail of our spiritual journey can become confusing and even fearful, and we are tempted to turn back. However, the tracks of other godly men are there for us to follow if we will simply look closely. The apostle Paul said, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1). Each one could look at family, friends, or church brothers and sisters who have faithfully gone the way before us, leaving a clearly marked trail. And the Scripture says, "Take my brethren, the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience" (James 5:10).

Faithfully pursuing our spiritual journey along life's trail assures us of something much more spectacular and rewarding than just a beautiful view in the end. May we encourage one another to persist on the true path, "looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is faithful. ~~
