--Number of Pro-Life Women in House Doubles ~~
-[DECISION / Dec. 2020]

---A record number of pro-life women will now be serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, including all 11 pro-life female incumbents who won reelection and at least 13 new pro-life women who will join the House in January. Seven of the newcomers won races against pro-abortion Democrats, doubling the number of pro-life women in the House.

"The surge of victorious pro-life women candidates in the U.S. House is a stunning blow to Nancy Pelosi and her pro-abortion agenda," Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List, said in a statement.

"These gains are a repudiation of abortion extremism and further evidence that life is a winning issue in politics," she added.

Additionally, at least six pro-life women have been elected to serve in the U.S. Senate.

"It is encouraging to know that despite the media-driven 'blue wave' lie, the number of conservative, pro-life women in Congress has doubled," Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel founder and chairman, said. "These women who value the sanctity of life will now be serving in the U. S. House and Senate. These pro-life women will bring new energy to Washington to preserve precious preborn children. This is another important step to making the womb a safe place again in America." ~~
