---GOOD friends are like your favorite best friends. You love them all. However, some friends are suited for taking walks, singing with in Church, or going on picnics with family. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.

--Dee, Lynn, Katrina, Betty, (fill in your friends name) _____ are good friends who stand with us at all times. Lynn stood by me as I grieved my father's death, Betty gifted me with a collection of flowers. Your friend will be by your side also. We call out names of people in the Bible who have ministered to us, we can sometimes think of a friend who has always been by our side. Jesus is the best friend we could ever have. He sticks closer than a brother [or sister]. [Proverbs 18:24] "A friend loves at all times" [Proverbs 17:17].

Jesus had twelve friends-- the disciples. Of the twelve, Peter, James and John were in His inner circle, and as they proved their devotion during persecution and peril, Jesus gave His three friends a foretaste of heaven. He revealed His shining glory to them on the Mount of Transfiguration [Matthew 17:1-8].

Jesus now calls us "friends" (John 15:15). Our personal relationship with Him gives us access to His glory, peace and eternal life. As for our earthly friends, while they supply us with support until heaven is our permanent home, we can be sure that our friends are heaven-sent. Jesus has given us earthly friends so that we never walk alone. ~~

-Let's be sure to let our friends know how much they mean to us. We will be with Jesus soon, and we will praise our Lord and bow down at His feet together. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. Yes, He stays beside us and fights our battles. Many battles we don't even see because they are spiritual. Be sure to give Him praise. ~
