hi does anybody elses eye sting or are sore iv had sinus problems all week and now my eyes are stinging doesnt matter wat i do they still hurt but there not red

Is there any pressure behind your eyes, or do you have a thyroid problme. My eyes started stinging about 6 years ago. It felt as if there was grit in my rt. eye. And there was pressure behind both eyes, along with nasty light sensitivity. Although I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis (hypothyroidism) , the dr. says I have Grave's disease (hyperthyroidism) eyes. Since being a teenager, I had terribly itchy eyes. It was unbearable and I would rub my eyes all the time and even developed a reputation among my friends; Them, often saying, be careful (itching your eyes), you're gonna' pop 'em out.

When my amalgam fillings were removed in July 2000, my eyes stopped itching entirely. In fact, I completely forgot that this symptom existed before the removal until recently. (see, my memory's coming back <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )
