---A SERIOUS CHOICE ~~

Belief in God is healthy and productive, whereas unbelief is corrosive and destructive. Unbelief isn’t about gaining information or having life experience; it is a choice that we make. It’s as if belief is offered to us and we push it away like a food we don’t want to eat.

We have been too accommodating of unbelief and have devised all sorts of ways to soft-sell it. Some people say, “Maybe if I studied more, if I learned more about it …” or “With my education, it’s just too difficult for me to believe in something I can’t see” or “None of my friends have fallen for this.” Unbelief is a serious choice with consequences that affect your days under the sun and your days in eternity. When we choose unbelief, we wall off the invitation to have a relationship with God. If you are living with skepticism and doubt, I invite you to put aside your unbelief and place your life in the hands of Jesus, the Savior of the world.

THINK ABOUT IT
The decision to believe God in the face of doubt is one you can have full confidence in. Faith is the catalyst for much of God’s miraculous intervention in the lives of His children, and He is delighted when we put it into action.

PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, I repent of any doubts about You I have harbored. Please help my unbelief and increase my faith in You. Jesus, I acknowledge You are Lord and put my life in Your saving care. In Jesus’ name, amen."
