-The Billy Graham Evangelistic
Association's 24-hour Prayer Line~~
--has received tens of thousands of calls since its launch in March. As the coronavirus crisis continues and racial tensions remain, many continue to call searching for hope. Following are a few stories of those who have called. [September 2020 / Decision Magazine ~]

**Emily is just 21 and seven months pregnant. She's never been to church, and she shared with the team member that in the past she has been involved in biker gang and been hooked on drugs and alcohol. When she got pregnant, she quit substances and started searching for a way out. A friend gave her a Bible and told her to look for a sign that would lead her to a new life. She turned on the TV and saw Franklin Graham's Gospel invitation. She prayed with him to receive Jesus. ~

**Alex, a law enforcement officer, saw Franklin's TV commercial and wrote down the number. He later called and wanted to pray for our country. He said he had a Christian upbringing and received Christ as Savior when he was young, but he had walked away from his faith. The team member was able to share with Alex the "Steps to Peace With God" booklet. Before he hung up, Alex prayed to rededicate his life to Christ.

**"I want to get saved, but I do not know how," Samantha told the team member, explaining that she had lived a rough life. After praying to receive Christ, Samantha said she felt like her "heart was on fire for the Lord."
