--MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL OUR NEEDS~~
--And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in
Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen"
--(Philippians 4:19-20 NASB )
--I sat on my parent's porch swing and shucked off my boots. I placed one in my lap, dipped a rag into a bucket of soapy water, and then ran the rag across the leather.
"What are you doing?" My ten-year-old brother Isaiah asked.
"Cleaning and polishing my boots." I dipped the rag back into the bucket. The water turned dark.
"Can I help?" Isaiah asked.
I patted the seat next to me and handed him a boot and rag.

"Will these scuffs come out?" Isaiah asked. He ran his thumb along the scratches in the dark leather.
"Most of them" I said. "But first we have to get this grime off."
The washcloth made a splash as Isaiah dropped it into the bucket.
"Polishing time," he said.
"Wait a minute, Bud," I said. "They need to dry first." We set the boots in the sunlight. Isaiah twisted open the can of polish and touched its surface. He smiled when his finger came back brown.
"I miss you when you're gone," he said. "I'm glad you came home this weekend."
If I lived in Virginia, I would be thousands of miles away this morning instead of sitting on a porch with a ten-year-old shoeshine boy. "Me too," I said. "I wouldn't trade this for anything." ~~
