-Yes! Jesus is the Only Way to the Father!
[Oftentimes the Lord will show up mightily during praise and worship. Jesus said, "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. "But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven" -[Matthew 10:32-33] ~~]
~~~~~~~ ~~We find Jesus all the way back in Genesis. Let's take a look at the book of Ruth~ ---Ruth, an Example of Commitment ~~~~"Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God; which had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." ---(1 Peter 2:10) -
--Ruth the Moabitess lived in the dark days described in the Book of Judges. Ruth and Orpah married the two sons of Naomi, but within a few years all three women were widows. When Naomi was ready to return to her homeland of Judah, Ruth and Orpah wanted to accompany her but Naomi tried to dissuade them. Though Orpah stayed in her home land, Ruth was determined to go with her mother-in-law. Her beautiful words of devotion are found in Ruth 1:16: "Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for wither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God." Judah was a strange land for Ruth, yet she committed herself to follow Naomi, become part of her people, and serve her God. As a result, Ruth received great rewards. She became the wife of Boaz and in this way she became an ancestress of David and of Christ. Even though Ruth was from a heathen, idol-worshiping nation, she was richly blessed because of her desire to become part of the people of God. This is a beautiful picture of how anyone can come into the family of God. Some children were raised by parents who did not go to church or even believe in God. As adults they might feel that they can never fit in with a group of people raised in Christian homes. But the church of Jesus Christ is open to everyone who comes to Him and receives His salvation by faith. Even though once we were "not a people," we all can now be "the people of God" (today's key verse). Such is the amazing grace and mercy of God. ~~Beside Still Waters/ BG~--"Hosanna (Praise Is Rising/ lyrics )//Paul Baloche~~< https://youtu.be/oAaQ5EEXidc> ~~~~~~~~~~~
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
