~~MORONI LOSES TRUMPET~

~~On March 18, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 shook Salt Lake City, the location of the main Mormon temple, which features a 210-foot-high spire topped with a 12-foot-high golden statue of the angel Moroni blowing a trumpet. The earthquake brought normal life in Salt Lake City to a halt and resulted in thousands without power. Though there was no loss of life and minimal other damage, it does seem quite prophetic that Moroni lost his trumpet. Some Mormons believe that the statue would one day come alive and actually blow the trumpet at the second coming of Christ.

Perhaps the empty hand is a sign of the false gospel they proclaim and a reminder of Who is really in charge.

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8). -- bible
