Yes, You Can Save Lives While Social Distancing!

Dear Friends,

When you give to this ministry, you are literally saving innocent babies from abortion!

You've probably heard the news that my good friend David Benham was arrested in Charlotte while ministering outside an abortion clinic this past week.

I was there that day and saw several other arrests of Christians providing essential services in complete compliance with social distancing regulations, some of which I captured in a live video on my Facebook page. Police kept threatening to arrest me, but the abortion clinic was still open, and babies were being murdered inside, so I kept hanging around as long as I could.

What you will also hear in that video is that, the same day I witnessed the arrests of law-abiding Christians trying to provide support to abortion-minded parents, we also rescued a baby from the cruel fate it would have met inside that clinic!

A mom I spoke with chose life for her baby and cancelled her appointment to have her baby killed!

As the mom and dad were about to turn into the clinic, I was standing beside their car and motioned for them to stop and talk to me. They rolled down the window and I pleaded with them to not go into that place where they kill children. The pregnant passenger immediately began to cry, so I asked her why she was wanting an abortion. She said they just had a baby 3 months earlier and were not financially stable. I reached into my pocket where I happened to have about $150, handed it to her, and assured her we had all of that covered with our army of volunteers.

I asked her to not make a decision she would regret the rest of her life, merely because money was a concern. I assured her we would help her with medical care, baby supplies, and even throw her a baby shower to ensure she had everything she needed for her beautiful, new baby. She seemed so relieved, as if a ton of bricks had been lifted off her chest! I asked her if I could accompany her over to the mobile RV to get a free ultrasound, which she gladly did.

When they received counseling and ministry inside the RV, they chose life for their baby and both the mom and dad prayed to surrender their lives to Christ! Three lives saved in one day--wow!

What's more, the mom has already reached out to thank me and asked me to take them to church! Hallelujah!!

I can not wait to continue to mentor this couple, help them with job security and throw them a baby shower! Your contributions will help us meet their needs.

The city can try to find reasons to arrest us, but they'll never snuff out the fire and love of Christ in us! Right now, more than ever, God needs His church to be on the street, ministering to the broken-hearted.

When you give to this ministry, you are literally saving lives. We are reaching out to the broken and offering them material help and spiritual salvation.

These may be tumultuous times, but we are still finding ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around us.

--"I have loved you with an everlasting love" --[Jeremiah 31:3]--

~~NORA was tiny, but "Bridget"--the belligerent, six-foot-tall woman glowering down at her--didn't intimidate her. Bridget couldn't even say why she had stopped at the crisis pregnancy center; she'd already made up her mind to "get ride of this...kid." So Nora gently asked question, and Bridget rudely deflected them with profanity-laced tirades. Soon Bridget got up to leave, defiantly declaring her intent to end her pregnancy.

Slipping her small frame between Bridget and the door, Nora asked, "Before you go, may I give you hug, and may I pray for you?" No one had ever hugged her before--not with healthy intentions, anyway. Suddenly, unexpectedly, the tears came.

Nora beautifully reflects the heart of our God who loved His people Israel "with an everlasting love" (text). The people had stumbled into the hard consequences of their persistent violation of His guidelines. Yet God told them, "I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. I will build you up again" (vv. 3-4).

Bridget's history is complex. (Many of us can relate.) Until she ran into real love that day, her belief had been that God and His followers would only condemn her. Nora showed her something different: the God who won't ignore our sin because He loves us beyond imagination. He welcomes us with open arms. We don't have to keep running.

"Father God, thank You, that you understand our heart and mind. Please draw more people to Yourself. Help us to know who You might put in our path to direct them to saving a little baby's life. You formed all of us in our mother's womb. -[Isaiah 44:2]
