---BEHOLD THE LAMB!

"Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
---(John 1:29 / NASB)

**The prevailing wisdom is that the greatest existential threat to humanity is climate change, but I believe that is the wrong diagnosis. I believe that the greatest existential threat to humanity is the deterioration of human character. When we see the horrible things that people are doing to one another, even innocent bystanders, and then listen to the reasoning of the talking heads who want to evaluate what is happening, it seems the one thing that is seldom, if ever, discussed is the necessity of character formation. If we don’t do something to interrupt the downward spiral of character deterioration, the future for our children and grandchildren is bleak. The only answer to that problem is Jesus. No legislation and no leader will solve this problem. This will be solved when God’s people demonstrate to the world that Jesus is the only solution we have and the only Savior we need. “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

THINK ABOUT IT
No “ism” or ideology can rescue us from our carnal nature. The only answer to the deterioration of character is Jesus. Only He can make any of us a new creation and then empower us by His Spirit to live it out.

PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, only Jesus can deal with the problem of sin and make all things new. Help me bear witness to Him by demonstrating in my words and actions a redeemed and transformed life. 'Even so, Come Lord Jesus, Come!' Let His life in me shine out. In Jesus’ name, amen."
