~~Aaron and Melissa Klein owned a bakery in Salem, OR, and seven years ago refused to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding, as it conflicted with their religious beliefs. Melissa said, "We lost everything we loved and worked so hard to build." They lost their case and were hit with $135,000 in fines. The negative publicity and fines forced them to close the bakery. Now there is a glimmer of hope for them, however, as their case is being by heard by Oregon Court of Appeals for reconsideration. The court is expected to rule within the next six months. Melissa also stated, "I am hopeful and putting my hope in Jesus."
