---GOD'S WONDERFUL WORD~~

--"Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of the
prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and who keep
what is written in it." (Revelation 1:3 / NRSV)--

--I bought an electronic tablet to gain access to my emails. However, I quickly found out that the tablet contains many more applications. Soon I was exploring my new device in detail. It was so exciting!

In many ways, my response to the Bible is similar. The Bible truly is 'alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.' My parents gave me my first Bible. When I was a boy in Sunday School, our teacher would announce a passage, and we would look it up. Sometimes we were asked to memorize a particular verse, which required that I look up the verse in my Bible at home. As the years passed and I began to read parts of the Bible on my own, I became more interested and --in the fullness of time--I gave my life to Christ. He is alive right now! Now as I read the Bible I feel His presence guiding my eyes and mind.

That was only the beginning. The more I read the Bible the more I wanted to read it. Later, as a Sunday School teacher and Bible class leader. I shared my knowledge of scripture with others. Although I no longer teach the Bible, I still read the Bible on my own or with a Bible study group. In addition, I refer to the Bible for guidance and often read it for relaxation. The more I explore God's word, the more I derive pleasure from it. It speaks to my soul, my inner-man. ~~

"Thank You, Dear Father, for your Word. Help me to understand it and tell others of Your love, grace and mercy. I give you glory, honor and praise, in Jesus Name." amen~
