---LIVING PEACEFUL LIVES ~~

---“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
---(Matthew 6:34 /NIV) -- angelwing

~~~In our hearts we know that worry doesn’t change anything, but it doesn’t stop us from trying. God created us and knows exactly what our needs are. His consistent message throughout Scripture is that if you make seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness your first priority, the things you need in life will come to you. If you reverse it and make seeking worldly things your first priority, no matter how much you accumulate, no matter how much of your future you think you have under control, those things can change in an instant. “Each day has enough trouble of its own,” so He doesn’t want us to look too far ahead and worry about things that may happen in the future. Some of us are prone to worry, and others have simply fallen into the habit. I encourage you to put that aside and focus on seeking God's Kingdom. He holds your future in His hands, after all, and He will see that your needs are met.
THINK ABOUT IT
You can’t add length to your life by worrying, but medical science warns us you can certainly shorten it by doing so. Trusting God is not only the appropriate thing to do; it’s the healthy response too.
PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, shifting my focus from worrying, I put my trust in Your Word, my confidence in the total provision of Jesus’ blood. I give thanks for Your goodness. Let Your Kingdom come as I bear witness to Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen."
