I've started taking Algin in preparation for removal of my amalgams in 2 weeks. I started taking the Algin to make sure my body would like it and to experiment with dosages. Frankly, I was curious to see how much of a bulking action it would provide for me and how frequently I'd be visiting the potty. lol
I'm happy to report that, suprisingly, I've noticed a reduction in some of my overall symptoms even though I still have amalgams. For people with chronic and debilitating illness, even a slight reduction in some symptoms feels monumental.
My question is, how far away from multi-vitamins and other supplements should we take the Algin? 2 hours before or after? 1 hour before or after taking a multi-vitamin or supplement?

It's hard to be exact about how far to distance Algin from other supplements because there are many factors involved, plus, it's different for everyone. I use this rule that has worked well for me. Take Algin at least 1 hour before or 1 hour after any other supplements. I also typically space it between meals UNLESS you're trying to protect yourself from something you're eating. For example, I love salmon but get mercury symptoms starting within an hour after eating it. If I take 4 algin about 30 minutes before eating and 30 minutes after eating it, I have no mercury symptoms at all. I'll then take Algin again before bed that night for an extra measure of protection. Hope this helps.
