~~~When you say yes to the Lord, He will put your feet on a path that you could not have imagined. From a secular viewpoint, Moses should have gone back to Pharaoh and said, “Look, I made a bad mistake. If you’ll let me back in the palace, I’ll be the most faithful servant you’ll ever have. The Hebrew slaves trust me, and I’ll make sure they do whatever you say.” But he chose another, more difficult path, and in the New Testament we see him having a conversation with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. What a reward! It will not always be easy, and the rewards may not be ones that the world values; but if you follow the Lord, you will have opportunities that are beyond what you could have imagined.

THINK ABOUT IT
We all have times where we are confronted with a choice between two paths—one acceptable to your desires and others, another one much more sacrificial. Ask the Lord for His wisdom—He’ll guide you in the right direction.

PRAYER
~~"Almighty God, I wait upon You, my deliverer and the One who restores. Pour out Your Spirit afresh that Your power and strength might be evident in my life. May everything that opposes Your purposes be brought down and Your Word be fulfilled in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen."
