~~~REPRESENT HIM~~
"If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?" ---(JAMES 2:15-16)--
---YOU PASS by people every day who are crying out to be touched by the love and power of Jesus Christ. Certainly, the needs of others are all around you. Do you notice? Do you see their pain and hear God calling you to be His answer to them? Perhaps someone has come to mind even as you've been reading this.
As a child of God, you are the visible and physical representation of Jesus on this earth. Christ is touching, saving, and healing lives through you--you are His mouth, hands, and feet. And you have so much to offer those in need through the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, who indwells you. As 2 Corinthians 5:20 explains, "We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us." So what kind of impression are you making on His behalf? Do others see Him through you? Friend, don't ignore the needs around you. Allow Christ to touch others by the way you care for them. Reach out, in the Name of Jesus and others will see 'Christ in you, the hope of glory.' (Colossians 1:27). "Pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart" ~(2 Timothy 2:22)~ ~~"Lord Jesus, reveal the needs You want me to meet and glorify Yourself through me. Use me for Your glory. You are my Savior, Lord, Redeemer, and soon coming King above all kings. In Christ. amen"
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
