Pink's Disease was from the use of mercury in infant teething powder and other infant powders. Yes, it cause the pink rash or discoloration along with other symptoms. Many of these symptoms are the same as seen for heavy metal poisoning. Those lights are terrible. You are not crazy on that one. They always give me a blaring headache. You may find after removal your red hands do go away. I do not beleive Pinks disease has been eradicated.
