~~~IF I had to give an analysis of the American Church in recent decades, I would suggest that we have been in an extended season of slumber. There is a time and a place for rest, because it is necessary for our physical and mental health. But when we are asleep we are unaware, unconcerned, and uninvolved. We’ve been in that condition long enough. It’s time for the Church of Jesus Christ to awaken to the opportunities of this generation. Not to sit in buildings and sing songs and endure sermons and pretend that morality has transformed us, but to be engaged with the purposes of God—to know there is a reason for us to be here beyond pleasing ourselves, and there are assignments that God has prepared and equipped each of us for. There are people throughout the world who are anxiously awaiting the awakening of the American Church. Let’s not keep them waiting any longer.

THINK ABOUT IT
Seek God’s assignment for you with the discipline of one who knows time is of the essence and with the gifts and wisdom God has entrusted to you. He intends to accomplish much by your hand.

PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, help Your Church repent of our apathy and disinterest. May we respond in unity through prayer and action, believing You have equipped us to make a difference for the Kingdom of God in this generation. In Jesus’ name, amen."

~~[ Friend, at the close of Pastor Charles Stanley's message yesterday he said, "We are headed [to be] a disastrous Nation (USA), if we don't turn to God." All we have to do is turn on the News or read a Newspaper. It's all bad news. Politics. Please pray for our Country, United States of America. And all Nations of the world. God is not willing that any should perish. Too many people are saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation" (2 Peter 3 vs.4).
"But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
"The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:8-9) == The End-Times are upon us, Jesus will come to gather His Church (people), to live with Him forever.
If you have not confessed and repented of your sins, you will not go to Heaven. "If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; For with heart a person believes, resulting in salvation.
"For whoever will call on the Name of the Lord Jesus will be saved." --[Romans 10:9,10,13]-
