----GRACE INTERVENTION ~~ --"For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me." ---(1 Corinthians 15:9-10 / NASB )
~~~When we first meet the Apostle Paul, he is Saul of Tarsus, a Pharisee. He is an orthodox Jewish man with an impressive education, a powerful mind, and a lot of career momentum. He studied at the right schools and has the right connections. But Saul was violent and profane―a murderer and a blasphemer whose goal was to discredit Jesus’ followers and destroy the Church. In Acts 9, Jesus found Saul on the road to Damascus and asked, “Saul, what do you think you are doing?” (another version) = "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"- [Acts 9:4] ] -- Now Saul is saying to the Corinthians: “I persecuted the Church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain.” Brilliant, educated, articulate, influential, and evil—but the grace of God turned his life around and gave him a completely different ending. THINK ABOUT ITBe encouraged that the great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us all overcame significant weaknesses through God’s grace to accomplish their purposes in the earth. We don't give up hope on those not yet saved. We pray for the Lord Jesus to open their (spiritual) eyes to find Him and salvation in His name. "Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved. - [Acts 2:21] --"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2: verses 8 thru 9) PRAYER--"Heavenly Father, I readily receive Your abundant, sufficient grace, and I ask for Your perspective on others. Thank You for the significance and meaning You have given my life through the Cross. Thank You for dying on the Cross for the forgiveness of my sins. Help me to be a light shining in this dark world for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.Blessings, Pastor Allen Jackson---/ -"Your Grace Still Amazes Me" / Phillips, Craig and Dean / < https://youtu.be/BHNnKBIxfB4> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
