We are in the process of getting a photo gallery page added to our website. Once it is up and running, we encourage everyone to send in photos of any events they hold to raise awareness about vaccination and vaccination policy in Australia. Photographs from the Canberra Rally will be up soon. |

October is Vaccine Injury Awareness Month (VAIM).
The AVN will not be running any official VAIM events but we strongly urge everyone to look within their own community to organise events.
Whether that be a picnic, a flashmob, handing out flyers, or even lighting a candle at home in memory of those injured or killed by vaccination.
The AVN will let you know of any planned events as we are notified about them.

At this stage there will be events of some kind in most capital cities and some regional areas.
Perth has a rally planned for October 19th. We will give you more details as they come in. If you have an event planned and would like the AVN to publicise it, please email the details to secretary@avn.org.au.

Submissions must be submitted by Thursday the 24th of October.

Human Rights Conversation |
|
There is also a national conversation on human rights currently underway. Everyone should have their say about human rights in this country, particularly around medical freedom and the current bribery and coercion surrounding vaccination policies. Submissions are due by the 8th of November.
New York has now removed religious exemptions to vaccination for school attendance. This is a heartbreaking photo of a little boy who can no longer attend school. This is segregation. This is why we must all come together and prevent any further erosion of our rights in Australia. Speak up!

Tasmania members, please get your tickets to the Gardasil screenings ASAP.
We really want these events to go ahead. We still aren’t up to minimum number requirements yet, so please if you plan on attending don’t wait any longer to buy your tickets
Launceston (25th October) and
Hobart (27th October)
The caveat is that there needs to be at least 50 tickets sold at each event 2 weeks prior to the screenings to guarantee they proceed. We want to bring you these events but they are expensive to run.

Do you want a film screening near you?
We have had many, many people asking us to bring film screenings to their area and, whilst we are happy that you are interested, we also need you to be aware that putting on events such as this are both expensive and a lot of hard work!
Neither of these issues have stopped us before, but we are asking those who would like screenings to please contact us at avnenquiries@avn.org.au to say what area you live in and how many hours you will be available to help us in organising the event. We also hope that if we do bring the screening (or a seminar) to your area, you will be able to help publicise it amongst your networks to make it as well-attended as possible.
The AVN is a network meaning we need to work together with you - our community - to spread this message as far as possible.
