---LIFELONG JOURNEY ~~

--"But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves."
---(James 1:22/ NLT)--

----You may have believed in the reality of Jesus enough to accept Him as Lord of your life and make a profession of faith, have your sins forgiven, and be birthed into the Kingdom of God. You may have taken another step and publicly declared your faith in Him through baptism. You may be a regular church attender. I commend you for all of those things, but they are not the terminal point in your journey as a Christ-follower. The goal of being a Christ-follower is not to show up on the weekend and sit and stand and be preached at. The goal of a Christ-follower is to become His faithful disciple who loves Him with a whole heart and serves Him joyfully. To gain knowledge of the Lord but never put it to practical use is to live an incomplete Christian life. I would encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to help you find a place of service in God’s Kingdom. You will be a blessing to others, and you will be abundantly blessed as well.

THINK ABOUT IT
--We have been created in Christ Jesus for good works which God has already prepared for us “to walk in.” Walking implies motion—getting out there, and getting it done on an ongoing basis. Ask the Holy Spirit how you can make serving His purposes a lifestyle more than random events.

PRAYER
--"Heavenly Father, thank You I can find a place of service which You have prepared for me. Help me to recognize Your invitations—especially those beyond my expectations—and fill me with Your Holy Spirit to accomplish all Your will. Lord, please give me the courage to teach others of the new life (born-again), found only in You. I praise You and bless Your Holy Name, Jehovah Elohim, the God above all gods." In Jesus’ name, amen."
