---ALL OF US ARE ON A JOURNEY ~~

~~ A LIGHT ON THE NARROW PATH~~
~~"Turn Up The Light" / GAJ~

--"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road
that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate
and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
--(Matthew 7:13-14)--

---Jesus identifies two possible outcomes: "destruction" and "life." He describes the pathways: a broad gate and a broad path that many will take to their destruction, and a narrow gate and a less-traveled path that only a few will find. Did you know that being a Christ-follower is a minority position? Jesus said we're laboring in the fields of humanity, saying to people, "There is a God. He's alive. His Son's name is Jesus, and He will change your life. There is a doorway, a gate over here, which leads to Him. It's a bit narrower. Not everyone is walking that way, but I've been on the journey a while and can tell you it's been the most rewarding, the most liberating thing I've ever found. Why don't you walk that way with me?"

[**Friend, we need to share our Jesus-story. It's a privilege to be a difference-maker in the lives of people. There is a Heaven and there is a Hell. Many don't want to hear about "destruction". That is a place of utter darkness, torment, and weeping of teeth. If we don't tell them, who will? Maybe Jesus has you in the path of an unbeliever. Please share your Jesus-story with them. The Holy Spirit does the work in their lives to bring them to salvation. To follow in Jesus's steps will bring eternal life. Let's be about the Father's business and tell those in our lives about salvation, found only in Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, there whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." --(John 3:16-17)~~

"Heavenly father, thank You that You have provided a way of salvation--a narrow gate and path, yes, but there for all who seek it. Thank You for the glorious blessing and eternal reward You promise to all who decide to walk that way. May many choose You and the narrow path, Lord, and may Your kingdom be extended. In Jesus' name. amen.~~"
