There has been no response or inquiries from any media outlet regarding the lifting of Polly Tommey’s ban from Australia. We weren’t surprised by this but are continually disappointed with the state of the media in this country.
We have been heartened by the number of volunteers who have come forward as a result of our last newsletter. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to make use of your talents!
Our volunteer co-ordinator has now replied to everyone who offered their assistance.

Meryl Dorey will be attending the V.I.E. event in Washington in November as a representative of the AVN. This will be an extraordinary event and will enable the AVN to make even more connections within the global pro-choice community.

Vaxxed II does not have a release date as yet, but we will definitely keep you apprised of any developments. The AVN will absolutely be bringing you screenings of Vaxxed II as soon as we can. It will be a world changing film.

No Jab No Play legislation has come into force in Western Australia (ABC Article)
Despite over 500 submissions being received by the WA Government this tyrannical legislation has come to pass in yet another state.

Meryl Dorey and I will be travelling to Perth for more screenings of Robert Kennedy Jnr’s Gardasil Documentary in August.
There are screenings in Freemantle (Friday, 16th August) and Albany (Sunday, 18th August). Please buy your tickets here.

Judy Wilyman will be joining the Q and A panel. We are hoping to have a skype guest as well but this is yet to be confirmed. We will keep you posted.

Do you want a film screening near you?
We have had many, many people asking us to bring film screenings to their area and, whilst we are happy that you are interested, we also need you to be aware that putting on events such as this are both expensive and a lot of hard work!
Neither of these issues have stopped us before, but we are asking those who would like screenings to please contact us at avnenquiries@avn.org.au to say what area you live in and how many hours you will be available to help us in organising the event. We also hope that if we do bring the screening (or a seminar) to your area, you will be able to help publicise it amongst your networks to make it as well-attended as possible.
The AVN is a network meaning we need to work together with you - our community - to spread this message as far as possible.
We appreciate your help and commitment.
