---TRUST GOD'S LOVING INTENTIONS ~~

---Each of us has had an earthly father whose DNA caused our earth suit to have his flat feet or crooked smile. Your earth suit serves as a vessel for you to live in while you are here, but it comes with an expiration date. You have a Heavenly Father who is the Father of your spirit, and your spirit is eternal. The Bible says that He knew you and had plans for you before your earthly parents even saw you, and if you are a Jesus-follower, you will live with Him forever when your days on earth are done. Our earthly fathers are fallible people who are usually concerned for our welfare but sometimes make mistakes in their correction. Our Heavenly Father is the all-knowing God who will never make a mistake where we are concerned. We can trust God’s loving intentions for us and learn to respect Him and submit to Him in all things.

**THINK ABOUT IT**
Fear of punishment can discolor our relationship with God as Father and distort our response to His discipline. It might take a process of renewing your thinking, but His steadfast love can cast out that fear and redirect you to a healthy trust in Him.

**PRAYER**
--"Heavenly Father, Your Holy Spirit bears witness with my spirit that I am Your child and You are my “Abba, Father.” Forgive me my rebellion and grant me a willing spirit to accept Your correction and obey You. I know Your commands bring life. Help me to forgive past sins committed to me and from me. Thank You, my Lord, Rock, and Redeemer. ~ In Jesus’ name, amen.
