Hi, from what I've been through, what I've read and heard, mercury is notorious for not showing up on tests. This can be because the person is retaining the mercury and not excreting it, therefore the hair etc does not show the levels it should show and the person can be very very mercury toxic but show little to no levels. They are usually the sickest patients. If you have mercury toxic symptoms, show all the signs, yet have hardly any level of mercury, you can really be ill. Or, it can mean you do have low levels, but your body is intolerant of even minimal mercury.

Or that the source of the exposure is gone, but the mercury remains in the organs etc.

The best way of seeing if you have mercury, is to get a hair analysis test, but to get familiar with what minerals are disrupted or depleted in mercury toxicity. Usually mercury causes certain minerals to be depleted or ones to be too high.

If you want to find out where to do this and how, you can look on a website that should have the information in the links/files section. You can also ask people on that forum too. I'm not too familiar with it all, but know many are finding out in this way if they have a mercury problem.

But it is very normal to have low levels and be very ill with it. Doesn't mean a lot, but the other minerals on the test can be very telling to what is going on and whether there are telltale signs that mercury is at work.

You might be high in arsenic, or it might mean you are excreting arsenic properly. Could be both. On the link I gave you, there are people on there who are also arsenic toxic (mercury is usually at the bottom of other metal toxcity and is the main problem in most people and can prevent excretion of other metals). But at any rate, there are ways of detoxing mercury and arsenic and the link I gave you can help you find this out, plus the way to get the fillings removed etc.

Hope that's helpful to you.
