Yeah, I feel this too. I've just stopped trying to convince people, although I do mention it when I mention I've been ill. I've stopped making excuses for why I feel like I do; they'll just have to deal with it. I'm just concentrating on getting well.
When no-one, or only a few, around you believes you and no-one fully understands you, I often find myself doubting it too. But then I just have to think back to what I was like, and what I'm like now, and what I feel like after I've taken some algin and what I felt like after prolonged chlorella intake.
It's a good point you make. I know plenty of others who seem fine with their amalgam fillings. Either it's yet to fully affect them, or maybe it only affects those who have sensitive nervous systems. I know I've always been sensitive, in both the physical and emotional realms.
Perhaps it is due to sensitivity. But I believe it's a good thing. I'd rather be sensitive to it, realise it's affecting me, remove it and feel better, than have it slowly decrease my quality of life, to such an extent where I don't realise something's actually wrong.
But then I am only in my mid-twenties whereas the rest of you seem a lot older, so maybe the sensitivity's merely related to me, and perhaps it affects everyone to a large extent when they've had their fillings in for 40 or so years, but only some recognise there's something wrong.
It's one to ponder over.
