----THE YEAR OF THE BIBLE~~

--150 Ohio pastors signed a proclamation declaring 2019 the Year of the Bible. Reaching across many denominations, pastors, joined together at the BibleWalk Museum in Mansfield, OH, to affirm the wonders of the Word of God, its role in American history, its confirmation in science and archaeology, and the need for all to turn to the Scriptures and find truth. The proclamation expresses distress over biblical illiteracy in our society and even some of our churches where the authority of the Bible is undermined.

In part the document reads, "We formally reaffirm the Bible as being living, active and God-breathed. Since Bible illiteracy is plaguing our politically- correct society, since the Bible is being censored by governments and cultural institutions, and since the authority of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures of the Bible are being subverted by some religious circles, we do proclaim 2019 as the 'Year of the Bible.'

We've got to get back to the values and standards and morals that are in the Bible. People are searching for something, but they don't know what. The Bible is the answer."
