---DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE FATHER ~~

-"I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy." - (JOHN 16:23-24 NLT)--

--WHEN JESUS told His disciples about their access to God the Father, He informed them that this was unfamiliar ground. They had never done anything quite like approaching God as their loving Father.

Jesus provides an ongoing promise that applies to every Christian, but are you taking Him up on it daily? Jesus even offers a clue to determine whether you're fully availing yourself of your connection with the Father: Are you experiencing the abundant joy He promised? Our joy is in knowing and serving Him.

While there surely are many challenging circumstances in life that could cause you sorrow, there is joy to be found in your connection with God. If you're presenting your requests to God on the basis of your relationship with Jesus, then you'll experience the joy of the Lord in your life.

What you ask will certainly need to be in accordance with the will of Christ. This isn't a blank check. Rather, God is inviting you into the abundant joy of living daily as His beloved child. You have an open invitation to bring your requests to Him. ~

"LORD G-D, I trust that You have given me full access to You as a son, through Your beloved Son, our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and King above all kings, CHRIST JESUS. All praises be unto You now and forevermore." ~~ amen~
