--10 BIBLICAL REASONS JESUS IS GOD~
--ANSWERS IN GENESIS ~ / bible

The reason Christians believe in the deity of Jesus is that we are forced to come to this conclusion by the clear teaching of Scripture. It is important to get Jesus’ identity because if we deny the deity of Jesus then we do not have the Father (1 John 2:23; cf. John 5:23). Here are 10 Scriptural reasons for the deity of Jesus.
--1) The Bible Teaches That There Is One True God

Jesus’ divinity is part of the doctrine of the Trinity.

This is important to understand because many objectors to the deity of Jesus misunderstand what Christians believe about the Trinity. Christians believe what the Bible teaches—that there is only one true and living God (Deuteronomy 6:4; cf. 1 Corinthians 8:6). However, we must not confuse monotheism (belief in one God) with Unitarianism (the belief that the being of God is shared by one person). Jesus’ divinity is part of the doctrine of the Trinity, which states that within the one Being that is God, there exists eternally three co-equal and co-eternal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is a distinct person, yet each is identified as God: the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6), the Son (John 1:1–3; Romans 9:5), and the Spirit (Acts 5:3–4). We must also remember that it wasn’t the Father or the Spirit who became incarnate; it was the Son (John 1:14) and he was born under the Law (Galatians 4:4). This is why, in his humanity, Jesus prays to the Father (Matthew 26:39, 42).5

The doctrine of the Trinity is revealed between the Old and New Testaments through the incarnation of Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.6 God did not change between the Old and New Testaments, being a Unitarian God in the Old and a Trinitarian God in the New. God has always been Triune, but the specific revelation of the divinity of Jesus takes place in the New Testament.7
--2)--The Bible Teaches That Jesus Pre-Existed Before The World Was

The New Testament in several passages clearly teaches that Jesus existed in eternity past before his birth in Bethlehem.

Genesis 1:1 tells us, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” In John 1:1 we read the same words, “In the beginning.”8 John informs us in John 1:1 that in the beginning was the Word (logos) and that the Word was not only with God but was God. This Word is the one who brought all things into being at creation (John 1:3). John 1:1 teaches that the Word is eternal, the Word has had an eternal relationship with the Father, and the Word as to His nature is deity.

In his prayer in John 17:3–5 Jesus both refers to his pre-existence and uses terminology that can only be used about deity:

And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

To have eternal life is to know two persons: both the Father and Jesus (see John 14:6-7; 16:3). But notice, Jesus is distinguished from the Father because Jesus is the one speaking to the Father. The personal pronouns (me, your, you) clearly show that this is one person speaking to another. In this conversation, the Son is speaking of the glory he has shared with the Father before the world was; the words “in your own presence” refer to their sharing of divine glory.9 John 17:3–5 is not an example of the “human side” praying to the “divine side” but of a divine, yet incarnate (John 1:14) person, the Son, communicating with a divine, but non-incarnate person, the Father in heaven.

Paul’s words in Philippians 2:5–8 teach not only the deity of Jesus but also the distinct personhood of the Son prior to his incarnation.10 In this passage, Paul exhorts the Philippians to have the same attitude as Christ Jesus who “existed in the form of God.”11 These words come before the verbs emptied, taking, and becoming and point to the pre-existence of the one “existing in the form of God.”12 Moreover, Jesus did not regard13 the equality he had with God the Father, in eternity past, something to be held on to. Instead he “made himself nothing”14 by doing two things: taking the form of a bond-servant and being made in the likeness of men.15 Having entered into human existence he humbled himself to death on the Cross. Because of this, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:10–11); it is only God who is to be worshipped as Lord (see Isaiah 45:23).
3) Jesus Is Creator Not Creature

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Paul’s statement in Colossians 1:15 that the “firstborn of all creation” teaches that Jesus was a created being. However, the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ teaching resembles the view of the ancient Colossian heresy that Paul had to combat.

The Colossian false teachers advocated the idea that Jesus was the first of many other created mediators between God and men. By using the specific Greek word prōtotokos, “firstborn,” Paul rules out the idea of Jesus as a created being. “Firstborn” does not mean “first created.” Rather, Paul uses a term that was based on the ancient designation of the authority, or pre-eminence, metaphorically given to the firstborn (Genesis. 49:3–4; Exodus 4:22). In the same way, David, the youngest of Jesse, was named “firstborn” (Psalm 89:20–27) who ruled Israel. Manasseh was born to Joseph first, but Ephraim, his younger brother, was “firstborn” due to his position as given by Jacob/Israel (Genesis 48:13–20, Jeremiah 31:9).

By describing Jesus as the “firstborn over all creation,” Paul is saying that he is the absolute ruler over all creation.

Furthermore, if Paul had wanted to describe Jesus as a created being, he could have used the Greek word protoktistos, which means “first created.”16 So why didn’t he use it? Because Paul did not believe Jesus was created. By describing Jesus as the “firstborn over all creation,” Paul is saying that he is the absolute ruler over all creation.

In fact, the evidence that Jesus is supreme over all creation comes in Colossians 1:16. Here, Paul absolutely rules out the idea that Jesus is a created being because he presents Jesus as the Creator of the entire universe which exists by his creative power (John 1:1–3; Hebrews 1:2, 8–10). The reason Jesus can “create all things” is that “in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). The Greek word for “Godhead,” theotēs, refers to “the state of being God.”17 It is only God who can create (Isaiah 42:5, 44:24, 45:18).
4) Jesus Identifies Himself as Divine

At the Feast of Tabernacles/Booths in his encounter with the Pharisees (John 8:13), Jesus told them, “I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins” (John 8:24). The Jewish people reacted to Jesus’ statement by asking him, “Who are you?” (John 8:25).

Jesus told the Jews exactly who he is: “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58). This “I am” (ego eimi) statement was Jesus’ clearest example of His proclamation, “I am Yahweh,” from its background in the book of Isaiah (Isaiah 41:4; 43:10–13, 25; 46:4; 48:12; cf. John 13:19).

These are the very words (ego eimi) ) that caused the Roman soldiers to fall to the ground after they came to arrest Jesus (John 18:6). Jesus’ explicit identification of himself with Yahweh of the Old Testament is why the Jewish leaders wanted to stone him for blasphemy (see John 5:18; 10:33).
5) The Apostles Identified Jesus as Divine

Both Jesus and his apostles identified him as divine. The Apostle Peter described Jesus as “our God and Savior” (2 Peter 1:1; cf. Titus 2:13) and called on believers to “honor Christ the Lord as holy” (1 Peter 3:15).18 Jesus’ own half-brother James, who was an unbeliever at first (John 7:5), described him as “the Lord of glory” (James 2:1; cf. 1 Corinthians 2:8; Psalm 24:7–8). What man or prophet could be described in this way? The Apostle John also attributed titles to Jesus that were used only of God by describing him as the “Alpha and Omega” and the “first and the last” (Revelation 22:13; 1:8, 17–18; cf. Isaiah 44:6). The writer of the book of Hebrews also has insight into the identity of Jesus In Hebrews 1, the author identifies Jesus (the Son) as superior to any prophet (vv. 1–2), above the angels (v. 5), worthy of our worship (vv. 6–8; cf. Psalm 45:6–7), and the creator of all things who is unchangeable (vv. 2–3, 10; cf. Psalm 102:25). The author of Hebrews further states that Jesus is “seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2; cf. Acts 2:30).
6) The Jewish Leaders Recognized Jesus’ Claim to Divinity

One of the clearest evidences of the deity of Jesus is the Jewish leaders’ reaction to Jesus’ words and actions. In Mark 2, Jesus not only heals a paralytic but also forgives his sins (Mark 2:5). This is the reason that the scribes cry blasphemy, for it is God alone who can forgive sins (Mark 2:7).19

In his trial before the Sanhedrin Jesus is once again charged with blasphemy because of his response to the high priest’s question: “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” (Mark 14:61) Jesus responded, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven” (Mark 14:62). Then the high priest tore his clothes, charged Jesus with blasphemy, and condemned him to death (Mark 14:64). Why did the high priest respond that way? Because Jesus quoted from Psalm 110:1 and Daniel 7:13–14 and applied the words to himself. In Daniel 7 the divine Son of Man comes before the Ancient of Days, and all peoples and nations serve20 him. The Pharisees recognize Jesus’ divine claim here and charge him with blasphemy, intending to put him to death.
7) The Early Church in the New Testament Prayed to Jesus

Prayer is something that should be addressed to God alone, but Jesus calls his disciples to pray to him (John 14:13–14; 16:26). In the book of Acts when Stephen is being stoned to death, he calls out to the Lord Jesus to receive his sprit (Acts 7:59). Interestingly, the term for “calling on” (epikaloumenon) recalls the appeal of Peter to the people in Acts 2:21 to “call on” (epikaleshtai) the Lord to be saved. Paul also describes the Corinthians as those who “call upon [epikaleo] the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 1:2). In the Old Testament, people “called on” on the name of Yahweh (Joel 2:32). The Corinthians were people who addressed Jesus as Lord in prayer.
8) The Early Church in the New Testament Worshipped Jesus

Jesus accepted worship from people (Matthew 2:2, 14:33, 28:9). One of the greatest examples of this comes from the lips of Thomas when he exclaimed, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). If Jesus was not divine, then Thomas made a serious error; but Jesus made no effort to correct Thomas in his worship. Yet Peter (Acts 10:25–26), Paul (Acts 14:14–15), and the angel in Revelation (Revelation 22:8,9) all corrected others for trying to worship them. The confession of deity here is unmistakable, clearly demonstrating that worship belongs only to God (Revelation 22:9) because Jesus accepted Thomas’s worship of him (John 20:29).

What’s more, in the book of Revelation, the elders and every creature in heaven and upon earth ascribe universal worship to “him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb” (Revelation 5:11–14; cf. John 1:29).
9) Jesus Made Claims That No Human Being Could Ever Make

Jesus not only identified as God, but he also indicated his deity through his words and actions. Jesus said that to enter the Kingdom of Heaven we must call him Lord (kurios, Romans 10:9; cf. Matthew 7:21). Just saying that Jesus is Lord does not get you into the Kingdom, but to enter the Kingdom you must confess Him as Lord.21 The entrance into God’s Kingdom, according to Jesus, is dependent upon a person’s knowledge of him and his reciprocal knowledge of the person (Matthew 7:23).

Jesus even promised rest to all those who come to Him (Matthew 11:28). Could Moses have ever made a claim like this? No! How could a human being give anyone rest from the Law?22 Jesus also claimed, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18). God never gave any man or prophet all authority in heaven and on earth, but this same authority was given to the Son of Man in Daniel 7:13–14 (see also Matthew 26:64).
10) Jesus Is the Son of God

It is often pointed out that the words “Son of God” are not an exclusive title for Jesus. For example, in the Old Testament Israel was called God’s son (Exodus 4:22–23; Hosea 11:1), the king was called God’s son (Psalm 2:7), and the angels were called God’s sons (Job 38:7). Even in the New Testament, Adam and believers are referred to as son/s of God (Luke 3:38; Romans 8:14).

There is, however, a difference between an adopted son and a relational Son of God, the latter being a deity by nature. More than anyone else who has walked this earth, Jesus the Messiah is uniquely entitled to be called the Son of God (John 1:49, 11:27) – “the unique One, who is himself God” (monogenēs theos – see John 1:18 NLT).23

Whatever Jesus said about himself must have been sufficiently provocative enough for the Jewish leaders to call for capital punishment on that charge of blasphemy.

--**In Jesus’ trial before Pilate, the Jewish leaders clearly understood that Jesus’ use of this term was not just generic, for they wanted him put to death: “We have a law, and according to that law he ought to die because he has made himself the Son of God” (John 19:7; cf. John 10:36). According to the Law, it was blasphemy to use God’s name (Leviticus 24:16). Therefore, by referring to himself as the Son of God, Jesus was claiming to share “the rights and authority of God himself (cf. [John] 1:34; 5:19–30).”24 People who say that Jesus never claimed to be God must answer why he was crucified on the charge of blasphemy. Whatever Jesus said about himself must have been sufficiently provocative enough for the Jewish leaders to call for capital punishment on that charge of blasphemy.

***The significance of this is that failure to believe in Jesus as the Son of God brings judgement because we are already dead in our sins (see John 3:18, Ephesians 2:1), but believing in Jesus as the Son of God brings eternal life (see John 3:15–17, 6:40, 20:31).
Conclusion

Although there may be many objections to Jesus’ deity, the New Testament clearly provides eye-witness testimony to the words, actions, and teachings of Jesus that prove his deity. A false Jesus cannot save you. If we do not get the identity of Jesus right, we will die in our sin (John 8:24).

---THE LIVING WORD ~~
--BY HENRY M. MORRIS, PH.D.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).- crackthebook

This is the great verse of the Incarnation, declaring to us that the Creator of all things, the eternal Word of God (John 1:1–3) actually became a man, being “made flesh.” Since this verse and the following verses unequivocally refer to “Jesus Christ” (v.17), there is no legitimate escape (though many have tried) from the great truth that the man called Jesus of Nazareth was the great God and Creator, as well as perfect Man and redeeming Savior. Furthermore, He has assumed human flesh forever, while still remaining fully God. He is Immanuel, “God with us” (Matthew 1:23).

He is not part man and part God, or sometimes man and sometimes God, but is now the God-Man, fully and eternally true God and perfect Man—man as God created and intended man to be. (See also Philippians 2:5–8 and I John 4:2,3).

When He first became man, He “dwelt among us” for a while. The word “dwelt,” however, is actually the Greek word for “tabernacled.” As in the tabernacle (or “tent”) prepared by Moses (Exodus 40:33) in the wilderness, the glory of God in Christ dwelled on Earth for a time in a “body” prepared by God (Hebrews 10:5). We also “beheld His glory,” says His beloved disciple, John. The Greek word for “tabernacle” (skene) is a cognate word to shakan (the Hebrew word for “dwell”), both being related to what has come to be known as the shekinah glory cloud that filled the ancient tabernacle (Exodus 40:34).

Eventually, when the Holy City descends out of heaven to the new earth, then “the tabernacle of God” will forever be “with men,” and He will “dwell with them” and “be their God” eternally (Revelation 21:3). Thus God’s “Living Word” is now and always our living Lord!

--[**Even though our finite minds can not comprehend it, JESUS IS GOD! He is alive right now. He lives within the hearts of believers (spiritually), and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will soon come to rapture believers out of this Earth to live eternally with Him. "Be ye always ready for no one knows the day or hour the Son of Man will return."-(Matthew 24:42)]
We accept this by FAITH= "Without faith it is impossible to please God." --"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." "Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not yet seen." **KEEP THE FAITH IN THE FAITHFUL ONE, cross JESUS CHRIST!**

--JESUS IS GOD-MAN~~

--The God-Man
--BY/ HENRY M. MORRIS, PH.D.

"Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead" (Romans 1:3-4).-- bible

How Christ could be both man and God is a great mystery, but the fact that He is both man and God is certain, both from Scripture and from history. This "hypostatic |substantive| union" is set forth in many passages of Scripture, including this one. He was "made" to be a man, by placing the body of flesh "prepared" for Him by God (Hebrews 10:5) in the womb of the virgin, who was herself descended from David. But then He was "declared" to be the Son of God by His mighty resurrection from the dead, an event beyond the power of any but God Himself to accomplish.

**(NOTE)--A similar testimony is found in Galatians 4:4: "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law." As deity, He was "sent forth" from God in heaven. In His humanity, He was "made of a woman." His "being in the form of God" preceded His taking upon Himself "the form of a servant" (Philippians 2:6-7). As the eternal Word, He "was God," but He "was made flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 1:1,14).

The same truth is found even in the Old Testament Messianic prophecies. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given" (Isaiah 9:6). As a child, He must be born, but as God's Son, He would be given. Furthermore, that human child would also be the "mighty God" and the "everlasting Father." "A virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel" ("God with us" -- Isaiah 7:14).

Christ has eternally been God; He will eternally be Man. He is, forever, the God-Man -- man as God intended man to be and also the one true, eternal God.

--THE GIFT OF THE CROSS~~

-The Cross is the only means by which we can be saved and become a part of Christ's church, the people who believe in His Name. When Jesus hung there with hands and feet pierced by nails, a divine exchange took place; "He [God} made Him [Christ] who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Cor. 5:21). His life for our life--the gift of God who, in humility, chose to live as a human being and die at the hands of His Creation, that we might no longer be estranged from Him.

He has set us free! As a result of that loving gift, forgiveness of sins and the righteousness of Christ are given to everyone who repents and believes in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

The One who made us--and who has lovingly sustained us even as we have lived apart from Him--has opened Heaven to us.

**Of course, a person can refuse that gift. But all who do will one day be required to stand before Him and give an account for why they turned away from His love. In that moment, they'll receive God's righteous judgment, the truth of their hearts revealed. The Cross is the only hope of salvation --it is the only way to be united with Jesus and live with Him for all eternity. Jehovah G-D is Holy, Righteous and Just. He never forces Himself on anyone. Please call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. - [ACTS 2:21] -- bible

--THE NAME OF THE LORD~
---BY HENRY M. MORRIS, PH.D.

“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you” (Exodus 3:14).--
--- angelwing

This unique name of God was given to stress the truth that He is timeless. The name “LORD” (Hebrew YHWH = Yahweh, or Jehovah) is essentially the same, conveying the truth that He is the eternal, self-existing one.

The Lord Jesus Christ appropriated this divine name to Himself when He told the Jews: “Before Abraham was [i.e., ‘was born’], I am” (John 8:58). Correctly assuming that this statement was nothing less than a direct claim to identity with God, the Jews immediately (but unsuccessfully) attempted to stone Him to death as a blasphemer.

As the I Am, the Lord Jesus Christ is, indeed, everything, and He has revealed Himself to us under many beautiful symbols. It is well known that there are seven great “I am’s” in the gospel of John, each of which is rich with spiritual depth of meaning. They can be listed as follows:

“I am the bread of life . . . the living bread” (John 6:35,51)
“I am the light of the world . . . the light of life” (John 8:12).
“I am the door of the sheep” (John 10:7).
“I am the good shepherd, . . . [who] giveth His life for the sheep” (John 10:11).
“I am the resurrection, and the life” (John ] 1:25).
“I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
“I am the true vine” (John 15:1).

It is well known that this magnificent self-assertion of the Lord permeates the whole Bible, from its first use in Genesis 15:1, “I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward,” to its final occurrence in Revelation 22:16, “I am . . . the bright and morning star.” And all these beautiful figures help us to pray more fervently “that God may be all in all” (I Corinthians 15:28).

---MESSAGES FROM THE MESSIAH'S LIFE: THE VIRGIN BIRTH~~

--“The LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.” (Jeremiah 31:22)-- bible

The entire gospel authority rests on the fact of the sinless life of the Lord Jesus—beginning with His conception.

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14). An ‘owth (the Hebrew word for “the token” or “the miracle”) would prove that the child born, the son given, would be none other than the “Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

When Matthew and Luke speak of the virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27), they use the Greek word parthenos, which is only used of an actual virgin. Yet, even as clear as the words may be, the reason for the virgin birth is more important still.

The Lamb of God (John 1:29) must be “a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Peter 1:19). Resting on the centuries of the example of the perfect sacrifice with the Passover lamb (Exodus 12:5), “even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us” (1 Corinthains 5:7).

This “last Adam,” created to be the “quickening spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45), was “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens” (Hebrews 7:26). This virgin-born Immanuel was “made flesh” (John 1:14) “to take away our sins” (1 John 3:5) “that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

This all began (in real time) with the sinless, virgin-born conception of the Messiah “which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” (Titus 1:2).

--MESSAGES FROM THE MESSIAH'S LIFE / THE MINISTRY OF THE FORERUNNER~

“The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” (Isaiah 40:3)-- bible

John the Baptist is one of the most unusual men recorded in the Scriptures. He was “filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb” (Luke 1:15). No other person is so honored other than the Lord Jesus Himself. John lived “in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel” (Luke 1:80) and was known for eating “locusts and wild honey” (Mark 1:6).

In spite of his different lifestyle, he was commissioned by God to operate “in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord” (Luke 1:17). In fact, Jesus said, “Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist” (Matthew 11:11).

He preached to “all the land of Judaea” (Mark 1:5) that they should bring “fruits meet for repentance” (Matthew 3:8), but his primary mission was to identify the Messiah. At the baptism of Jesus, John boldly confirmed this, announcing: “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).

As John’s intense popularity and notoriety as a prophet began to wane, he knew that “[Jesus] must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). Yet, when he saw his key disciples leave and attach themselves to Jesus, John began to wonder if this carpenter from Nazareth was the one “that should come, or do we look for another?” (Matthew 11:3).

That doubt vanished when he was reminded of the stunning miracles Jesus did.. To His growing followers, Jesus said: “This is Elias, which was for to come” (Matthew 11:14).

--REASONS TO BELIEVE THE BIBLE ~~

-(Please read/ 2 Timothy 3:14-17)-- bible

--HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED IF you can trust what the Bible says? Although Scripture testifies to its own inspiration, there are also other evidences that affirm that the Book we hold in our hands is the true and accurate Word of God.

-**JESUS BELIEVED SCRIPTURE= Our Savior affirmed the validity of the Old Testament by quoting passages as He taught. He used Isaiah's prophecies and the Pentateuch to poke holes in the Pharisees' false piety (Mark 7: verses 6- 13). And after His resurrection, He explained the things concerning Himself that had been written by Moses and the prophets (Luke 24 verses 25-27). Finally, because Jesus had promised the Holy Spirit would teach the disciples and remind them of His words, He insured the accuracy of the New Testament as well (John 14:26).

**SCRIPTURE IS INEXHAUSTIBLE. = Like a well that never runs dry, the Bible offers a fresh taste of living water each time we open it. People who have dedicated their lives to studying this amazing book admit they have only skimmed its surface. Personally, I can't count the times that a passage I knew by heart suddenly yielded new insights.

**SCRIPTURE IS INDESTRUCTIBLE. = Over the years, various governments and leaders have tried in vain to destroy the Bible, or at least restrict access to it. And yet this polarizing--and well-loved--book keeps circulating and winning hearts for Christ.

-The Bible truly is the most amazing book ever written because it comes directly from G-D, YAHWEH/ YHWH. Not only does it accurately predict the future; it also has the power to save sinners and transform them into saints.

---DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE FATHER ~~

-"I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy." - (JOHN 16:23-24 NLT)-- bible

--WHEN JESUS told His disciples about their access to God the Father, He informed them that this was unfamiliar ground. They had never done anything quite like approaching God as their loving Father.

Jesus provides an ongoing promise that applies to every Christian, but are you taking Him up on it daily? Jesus even offers a clue to determine whether you're fully availing yourself of your connection with the Father: Are you experiencing the abundant joy He promised? Our joy is in knowing and serving Him.

While there surely are many challenging circumstances in life that could cause you sorrow, there is joy to be found in your connection with God. If you're presenting your requests to God on the basis of your relationship with Jesus, then you'll experience the joy of the Lord in your life.

What you ask will certainly need to be in accordance with the will of Christ. This isn't a blank check. Rather, God is inviting you into the abundant joy of living daily as His beloved child. You have an open invitation to bring your requests to Him. ~

"LORD G-D, I trust that You have given me full access to You as a son, through Your beloved Son, our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and King above all kings, CHRIST JESUS. All praises be unto You now and forevermore." ~~ amen~

---ADOPTED / ` DEPTH OF GOD'S LOVE~~

-[BY: Touching Lives/ Pastor James Merritt]

“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’”
----(Romans 8:15)~~

"For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!"
---[ROMANS 8:15/ NASB]--- bible

----The most important thing you can understand about God is that He desires to have a personal relationship with the people He has created. There are no exceptions. No one is disqualified due to race, culture, socio-economic status, lifestyle, or gender. It is always God’s desire for men to repent of their sins and come to Him through faith in His Son Jesus.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”-- ( 2 Peter 3:9)

The God who created the universe is patiently waiting…longing even…for those He created to come back to Him. What an amazing truth! And as if this were not enough, He doesn’t wait for us to return with our tails tucked between our legs, trembling in fear. He doesn’t want to make us His slaves, but rather His sons and daughters.

--Romans 8:15 reminds us that the Spirit of God, whom we’ve been given, doesn’t make us slaves living in fear. Instead, this Spirit brings about our adoption as sons, so that we can call God “Father.” The word “adoption” here is made up of two different Greek words: huios which means, “a son;” and tithemi which means, “to set in place.” I am not sure how familiar you are with the adoption process, but it is not easy. Setting an orphaned child in place as your child requires great resolve and sacrifice. Parents cannot enter into such a process half-heartedly. They must resolve to make this child their own, and then get to work to make it happen.

The use of the word “adoption” in this passage serves to remind us that it is God who initiates the relationship with His children. A child cannot adopt parents; the parents must initiate that relationship. The same is true spiritually. We cannot come to God as His children; He must come and get us. We are orphaned by sin, cut off and alone, without hope or a way to belong. And yet God resolved, while we were still sinners, to make us His own. If we love Him it is because He first loved us.

-- star--You cannot truly know the depth of God’s love until you understand that He chose you. He fought for you. He sacrificed for you. And He desires to have a personal and meaningful relationship with you. Our Lord Jesus came to earth to die in our place, to pay our sin-debt. He died so we can live eternally with Him. We must accept this 'gift', by faith.

"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
"For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed." (Romans 10:, 9,11)
It would not be love if our Lord forced salvation on us. He awaits each person to make this choice. Yes, the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin. Please do not turn Him away. He is the third Person in the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Come to Jesus and confess your sins, and repent. He will not turn away a sincere seeker. Jesus loves you! We are not promised tomorrow. Please, accept His gift of salvation, and tell others of His life-changing joy. ~

"Father, Thank You for setting me in place as your child, for adopting me when I was orphaned by sin. May my life continually display the glorious truth that You desire a relationship with me and with every human being on this planet. I ask this in Jesus Name, Amen."

--GOD EXPRESSES FATHERHOOD - / JESUS IS GOD/MAN~~
--(Please Read Matthew 6:8-13)

--ONE WAY GOD EXPRESSES HIS FATHERHOOD is in His desire for an intimate relationship with us. Notice the first line of the Lord's Prayer--"Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name" (Matt. 6:9)--moves from His Fatherhood to His holiness. In one sentence, Jesus shows us that we can have a personal relationship with God even though He is holy and perfect. This prayer has a sense of transparency, which indicates a close, trusting relationship. We can ask our Father to provide our daily needs and completely forgive our sins; we can also ask Him to give us the power to forgive others who sin against us.

Quieting ourselves before God enables us to sense His presence, and the more we're attuned to Him, the more He will reveal who He is. We'll also better understand His desire to communicate with us and show His love. And we can trust that He hears us. If He weren't listening, why would Jesus have said, "Ask, and it will be given to you" (Luke 11:9)?

God's unconditional love, the greatest expression of His Fatherhood, is the same for those who accept Him as it is for those who reject Him. But unfortunately, those who reject the Lord, position themselves in such a way that they cannot enjoy His divine love. Yet we who follow Christ remain in God's unconditional care and protection, which is fully accessible (John 15:9-11).

The Lord promises to be with us forever (14:16-18). How awesome to have a Father who knows us intimately, speaks to us, and offers us unconditional love that will never end. Jesus loves you no matter what sins you have committed in your past. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the Cross to forgive your sins. Your sin-debt has been paid in full. Please come to Jesus and live forever!

Ask our Lord Jesus to come into your heart and help you to live for Him. Confess that you are a sinner in need of His grace, forgiveness. Tell Him you want to follow Him for the rest of your life as He leads, guides and directs your steps.
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Whoever will call on the Name of the Lord Jesus will be saved." --(Romans 10:9,10,13). Please do not let another day pass if you have not received His gift of salvation. Come just as you are. He never turns away a sincere seeker. Yes, Jesus is G-D. As He said, "I and My Father are One." Jesus never ceased being God. He said, "I can do nothing of my own. I do as My Father tells Me." We serve GOD the Father, GOD the Son, and GOD the Holy Spirit. These 3=ONE! --[TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS! JESUS IS ALIVE! ]

--FORGIVING OURSELVES~~

--[Please Read / PSALM 103: 10 thru 14)-- crackthebook

--HAVE YOU EVER COME TO THE LORD in repentance, confessing your wrongdoing, and yet still felt guilty? Sometimes the problem is that we can't forgive ourselves. Therefore, we go into a self-punishing mode, repeatedly replaying the sin until we feel unworthy not only of pardon but also of blessings, answers to prayer, and the Father's love. Eventually we build a prison of guilt because our offense seems unforgivable.

According to the Bible, our Father freely bestows forgiveness on the basis of His Son's payment of our sin debt--and has removed our transgression "as far as the east is from the west" (Ps. 103:12).

Two men in Scripture teach us about the importance of accepting God's full forgiveness. One is Peter, who denied knowing Christ, and the other is Paul, who persecuted Christians. The Bible gives no evidence that either one of them refused to forgive himself. Although their offenses were great and both men probably regretted their actions, they received God's forgiveness and lived in the freedom of His grace.

Friend, once you have sincerely repented and confessed your sin (wrong-doing), according to God's Holy Bible, He forgives you instantly. Don't allow the devil to steal your joy. It's time to accept the Lord's forgiveness and grace. TRUST IN GOD NOT IN FEELINGS!
--Keep praising the LORD JESUS. Jesus is as close as the mention of His Name. "You are loved with an everlasting love and underneath are His everlasting arms."

---DARING TO REACH OUT/ - "COME UNTO ME..."

--"A woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment."
~~~~~~~~~~
-"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
--(Matthew 9:20-22 / - Matthew 11:28-20)~~ / bible
----The redemptive work of Jesus isn’t just about the “sweet by and by.” It has impact on our lives in time. Our salvation includes our body, soul, and spirit—every part of our person—that we might be healed, delivered, and given a purpose in God’s Kingdom. This woman had spent twelve years fighting a private battle. Her medical condition would have determined her life choices. She wouldn’t have been welcome in public, but she braved the crowds that day and approached Jesus. She knew that Jesus could deliver her and change her life completely if she could just touch Him. She did, and He did, and hers is one of the most touching stories of deliverance in the Bible. Jesus wants to do for You the same thing He did for this woman. Reach out and touch Him, believing that He will deliver you.
THINK ABOUT IT
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Be confident today of Jesus’ willingness and power to heal as the woman with the problem of bleeding was then.
[Our Savior, Lord, and GOD, Yahweh, has already paid our sin-debt by dying on the Cross. cross He will not force Himself on anyone. He stands calling for people to ,"Come unto Me...." He died an unbelievably painful death on the Cross for us, each person on earth. By the Holy Spirit, He Jesus, is calling us to accept His 'free-gift' of eternal life. Please don't turn Him away. Jesus loves you so much. Come, just as you are. He will help you to live for Him. We can not do this on our own because the enemy of our souls, the devil will try to tempt and discourage you [us]. Don't listen to him. Jesus tells us 'the devil is the father of lies. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. He is a liar and the father of lies." --(John 8:44).
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Jesus was wounded on the cross that I might be healed. Help me continually apply Jesus’ finished work through His shed blood to my life—body, soul, and spirit—to deliver and restore me to health. Thank You for Your compassion. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Blessings,
Pastor Allen Jackson
[Yes, we live in a fallen world because of the sin of Adam and Eve in the beginning of time. Therefore we will have sicknesses, ailments, and pain. But when Jesus returns, He will take all of that away from His people. Please, Come today. We are not promised tomorrow. "Call upon the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." --(ACTS 2:21) Our complete healing will be when our Lord takes us Home, to live with Him forever. ~~]
