“HPV vaccines use purified proteins as antigens. Purified protein antigens are poor immunogens. As a result, HPV vaccines depend on using special adjuvants to enhance the host’s immune response, including the use of toll-like receptor 9 agonist (HPV L1 gene DNA fragments)."
"In certain genetically or physically predisposed individuals, toll-like receptor 9 agonist may induce serious adverse reactions which cannot be prevented. Parents’ informed consents before HPV vaccination should be mandatory."
