Hi Dawn, according to Andy, you take at the very least the basic supplements he recommends - the vitamin C, vitamin E, milk thistle, magnesium, zinc and B complex. All (apart from zinc) must be taken 3 - 4 times per day due to their pharmaceuticals. You take them daily, during DMSA and otherwise.
Not sure about algin, Andy doesn't mention that, but if it helps, I can't see it interferring if you want to add it.
Apparently, DMSA causes mercury to be excreted via the urine.
Yes, psyllium husks are fine to take if you need them. Probably wise to drink more water during DMSA chelation due to helping flush the metals out.
Hope that helps.

It was more incidental than anything. DMPS was recommended to me and so I went with it. My business partner, Laura, went through the amalgam removal and DMPS thing at the exact same time I did and she got very sick. I then started researching DMPS and was spooked by what I found, so we both stopped.
If I was to go through it all again, I would not do DMPS, but I respect those who choose to.
