----GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES

--"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God."
--(2 Corinthians 1:20 / NIV)

---We all have been hurt by broken promises. I would imagine that most of us were disappointed in childhood when one of our parents gave a distracted nod or said an offhand yes just to quiet us. They may have not really heard the request that seemed so urgent to us at the time, and we were crushed when it never came to be.
Perhaps you have been disappointed when a promised raise or promotion never materialized, or when a relationship that you thought was based on mutual promises turned out not to be. This beautiful verse demonstrates one of the many ways that our God is not like us: His promises, every one of them, are always kept; they are “Yes” in Christ, and through Him we say a joyous “Amen!” to the glory of God.
-----People will disappoint us; we can count on that. But our God, who knows us, loves us, and wants the best for us, will never disappoint us.

**THINK ABOUT IT
God keeps His promises, so it is of great benefit to know as many of them as possible. Invest time and build up your faith by studying His Word to learn more about His promises to you.

**PRAYER
"Heavenly Father, increase my knowledge of Your promises. They are the foundation of my faith. I place my trust and confidence in Your Word and Your faithfulness. You never disappoint those who wait in hope for You. In Jesus’ name, amen."~~
