- --THE HEART OF JESUS IS PURE ~~
--The heart of Jesus was pure. Peter traveled with Jesus for three and a half years, and he described him as a “lamb, unblemished and spotless.” The heart of Jesus was peaceful. The disciples shouted for fear in the storm, but Jesus slept through it. Peter drew his sword to fight the soldiers, but Jesus lifted his hand to heal. --The heart of Jesus was purposeful. He aimed at one goal—to save humanity from its sin. “The Son of man came to seek and to save the lost.” His heart was spiritual. He took his instructions from God. It was his habit to go to worship. He memorized scripture. His times of prayer guided him. John 5:19 says, “The Son does whatever the Father does.” The heart of Jesus was spiritual. Let ours be the same.- -Just Like Jesus/ ML~~ [ --Friends, we all are on a Spiritual Journey. Christians are to strive to be like Jesus. "Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."- (Matthew 5:48)- No, we won't reach that stage until we arrive in Heaven with our Lord Jesus. But the key is to Press On. To read the Holy Bible. Perhaps have good Radio or Television programs that present the whole Word of God. For a few I would suggest, "Love Worth Finding", with Adrian Rogers (he is now with the Lord, but his messages are still broadcasted on television and radio). You can look up on the internet for the schedule time. "IN TOUCH", with Dr. Charles Stanley is very good. There are others, just be sure what you listen to or watch lines up with Scripture. If it adds to the Word of God, I would not watch it. The Holy Spirit has given each of the Lord's follower's a discerning spirit. Jesus tells us, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine: and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." -(Please read JOHN 8: verses 31-36)
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]
